Commitment to accessibility

Knolyz is committed to making our platform accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We aim to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

Accessibility features

Knolyz includes the following accessibility features:

  • Keyboard navigation — all pages and interactive elements are navigable using keyboard only
  • Screen reader support — semantic HTML and ARIA labels for screen readers
  • Text alternatives — images and videos have alt text or captions
  • Color contrast — text meets WCAG AA contrast ratio standards (4.5:1 for body text)
  • Resizable text — users can zoom to 200% without content breaking
  • Focus indicators — clear visual focus outlines on keyboard navigation
  • Skip navigation — skip-to-content links on every page with site navigation
  • Form validation — clear error messages and instructions

Known limitations

We are aware of the following limitations and are working to address them:

  • Modal dialogs could benefit from enhanced ARIA labels (planned enhancement)
  • Some third-party embeds (calendar, webmail) may have limited accessibility
  • Video content requires captions (creators responsible for course video captions)

Third-party accessibility

Knolyz integrates with third-party services including Stripe (payments), Migadu (email), Namecheap (domains), and AWS (media). While we select providers with accessibility in mind, we cannot guarantee their full compliance. Contact us if you experience accessibility issues with these services.

If you encounter accessibility barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us at accessibility@knolyz.com. Include:

  • A description of the barrier or issue
  • The page or feature affected
  • Your assistive technology (screen reader, magnifier, etc.)
  • How we can contact you

We will investigate and respond within 5 business days.
